About Automattic, Inc.… (from the store)

“The Automattic Affiliate Program offers a comprehensive ecosystem for creators, developers, and marketers to monetize their content by promoting some of the most recognizable brands on the web. As the company behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce, and Jetpack, Automattic provides a single, unified dashboard, managed through the Impact network, that allows affiliates to generate links and track performance across its entire product suite. This centralized approach eliminates the need for managing multiple disparate programs, providing a streamlined experience for those operating in the WordPress and e-commerce niches. Affiliates can earn commissions on a diverse range of services, including managed WordPress hosting, domain registrations, security plugins, and e-commerce extensions. For example, WordPress.com hosting referrals can earn up to 100% of the first-year plan cost (capped at $300), while tools like Jetpack offer a 40% commission on the first purchase. The program also rewards loyalty and repeat business within the WooCommerce Marketplace, offering a 30% payout for a user's first purchase and a 10% commission for returning customers. This hybrid structure of high-bounty flat fees and percentage-based rewards makes it a versatile choice for different types of traffic. Tracking is supported by a standard 30-day cookie window for most products, ensuring that affiliates receive credit for referrals that take time to convert. However, specific premium services like Pressable hosting extend this window to 180 days. The program is free to join and does not impose strict minimum traffic requirements, making it accessible to both niche bloggers and large-scale agencies. Approved partners also gain access to professionally designed creative assets, real-time reporting, and multi-currency payout options, backed by the global reputation of the Automattic brand.”
